A narrative stage performance with acoustic music is the tale of two roommates, Wesley K. Andrews and Ilvs Strauss (pronounced “Elvis”), whose shared passion for the same woman threatens their friendship and their lives.
After a successful Seattle run during the City Arts Fest Andrews and Strauss take their show on the road. The ensuing multi-media project combines spoken word, music, and visual art in the form of a Kodak slideshow to create an immersive audience experience.
This performance is edgy with its content but subversively soft-spoken in its delivery. With references to sex and drug use, minors must be accompanied by a parent.
October 25 – 26 and November 1 – 2 at 10:30 pm. Tickets are $12 advance / $15 door. Available online at actionadventure.org. Action Adventure Theatre is located at 1050 SE Clinton St.
