This foxy picture is “Je Ne Sais Quoi” and it certainly does exude that certain elusive something. Featured this month at Sidestreet Gallery along with other works from Jahna Vashti, whose paintings are populated by forest creatures and land. Her “mixture of surrealism and highly individual view of the world” is colorful and vivid.

Her work can be seen through June 1, noon to 5 pm, Wednesday – Sunday. The gallery on the sidestreet can be found at 140 SE 28th Ave.
