Friday Sept. 12, LIVE IN CONCERT: THOLLEM MCDONAS, ANDRE ST. JAMES AND TIM DUROCHE,  7 pm. Improvisational and peripatetic pianist Thollem McDonas joins forces with Portland bass master Andre St. James and drummer Tim DuRoche for an evening of fiery, beautiful improvised music.

Workshops include:

Theater of the Heart: Improv Your Life Sat, Sept. 20, 1 pm – 5 pm, Rm 05 Expand the story of your life and live with an improvisational mind set. A fun-spirited series of classes teaching the art of expressing and listening from the heart. Learn to speak and listen in a way that transforms your life. Plexi Palooza, Sept. 26-28, 10 am-6 pm with Bridget Benton. Three days of art workshops working with acrylic and plexiglass. Designed for folks exploring different aspects of their creativity. Oil painters make jewelry; health-care workers collage. Techniques and skills are taught, and designed to allow for discovery and experimentation.
