Did you know that your body is home to trillions and trillions of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microbes? Zoo In You is a brand-new 2,000 square foot bilingual (English and Spanish) traveling exhibition created at OMSI. This exhibition engages visitors in the cutting-edge research of the National Institute of Health Human Microbiome Project and explores the impact of the microbiome on human health.

Also at OMSI The Science of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! offers some of the world’s most perplexing optical illusions, investigates incredible examples of body modification and celebrates the life and legacy of Robert Ripley, the explorer and adventurer. Visitors have can discover epic examples of extreme biology as they stand inside a life-size Megalodon jaw, experience what it would be like to be swallowed by the giant prehistoric snaked called Titanoboa, or measure up against Robert Wadlow, the world’s tallest man, who grew to 8 feet 11 inches.
