Revolution Hall, 1300 SE Stark St.

This Film Premiere Gala will feature a short documentary titled The Lost Boys of Portlandia, a riff on Peter Pan, where real lost boys and girls debate whether and how to return to mainstream society. We will also screen original film shorts by homeless youth about issues such as drug abuse, gender identity, and the health care system. A Q&A with young filmmakers to follow.

Nili Yosha, executive director of Outside The Frame, began and ran Outside The Frame in 2009 as a program of Outside In and has now spun it off into a separate nonprofit, complimenting and enhancing social services in the area and empowering youth to educate the community about issues they face while showing themselves and others that they can actively contribute to the society in which they live.
