Mister Theater, is a new 80-seat black box performance space at 1847 E. Burnside St.
It opened its doors November 17, with a new stage adaptation of The Room, an iconic film by Tommy Wiseau and the show runs through December 18.
The Room follows Johnny as he uncovers secrets about his future wife Lisa and best friend Mark. Also in the ensemble are young Denny, Lisa’s overbearing mom Claudette, Peter the psychologist, young lovers Bran and Michelle, bad guy Chris-R, and a guy who becomes Peter in the 4th act…hmmm…
Performances are Thursdays through Sundays (except Thanksgiving). All shows at 8 pm. Tickets start at $10 on a sliding scale, and are available at mistertheater.com / 503.547.4019.
