Many thanks to all businesses on and near Belmont, Morrison and Stark for contributing prizes and gifts: Straight from New York Pizza, Baby Doll Pizza, Cosmic, Zupan’s, Shakti House, Carpe Diem Pilates, Hoda’s, Belmont EcoLaundry, Rose City Acupuncture.

Read about membership and join on line at: www.belmontdistrict.org.

What’s happening in the district:

The Bicycle Repair Collective will be missed, closing down last month after many years at 4438 SE Belmont helping folks fix their own bikes.

New in the district: Carpe Diem Pilates has opened up at 4220 Belmont, run by a great group of health enthusiasts who fell in love with pilates in Eugene and wanted to bring the best of what they had to Portland. Welcome Carpe Diem!

Congratulations to Belmont Eco Laundry for becoming eco-certified through the City of Portland’s sustainability at work program.  Belmont Eco-Laundry will be included in the 2014 SE Sustainable SE Map thanks to the efforts of the great inner SE sustainability team.  Find out more at BABA or Hawthorne business district meetings.
