Let A Hundred Flowers Bloom, the award-winning play by David Zellnik is the new Defunkt Theatre production at Back Door Theater, 4319 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Feb. 14 – March 22.

It’s 1996 in the story. Advances in AIDS medications give four men who faced near certain death a sudden, unexpected hope for a future.

This is the play’s West Coast premiere and it contains adult content and is recommended for ages 17 and up.

Presented in partnership with Cascade AIDS Project, there’ll be talkbacks Friday February 21 with the author and Saturday March 1 with a panel discussion on  “Living with HIV/AIDS”. Reservations are encouraged as space is limited. Call 503.481.2960
