WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?

The Foundation, a “glamour-era lingerie boutique for girdles, garters, stockings, corsets and etc.” at 4831 SE Division St., presents an evening of songs and alluring stories about the comic, complicated and confounded nature of romantic relationships. It’s live in the store Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 pm.

Nikki Schulak (author of My Mid-life Thong Crisis) is emcee and writers include Stevan Allred, Wayne Scott, Steve Denniston, Michelle Fredette, Ela Howard and a live musical performance from singer-songwriter Malachi Graham.

Graham’s “new old songs” have a sound steeped in history, poetry and old-time storytelling. Her voice spins tales of Victorian spinsters, spurned mariners, whalebones, great poets and (appropriately for the evening) ill-fitting historical undergarments.

Hear a preview of her music at www.malachigraham.com.

Tickets are $5 at the store and at brownpapertickets.com Phone is 503.926.4510 and on Facebook at: The Foundation: From Billie To Bettie.
