The Kerns Neighborhood Association (KNA) is busy planning events for the next several months. We have monthly meetings about issues around the neighborhood and are planning the Spring Clean Up Saturday, April 18 and our summer Movie in the Park (date TBD).
Residents, landowners, business owners and employees in the neighborhood are always welcome to attend our monthly meeting. Our March meeting is Wednesday, March 18 at 6 pm at the Pacific Crest Community School at the corner of NE Davis and 29th Ave. Food and beverage (pizza, salad and soda) will be available.
Agendas are posted on our website, www.kernspdx.org, one week before the meeting. You can read our newsletters (current and past), past minutes, or sign up for our once a month e-newsletter. If you have an item to add to our agenda, contact kernsna@gmail.com.
Our annual elections will be held at the May meeting on Wednesday, May 20. We are looking for new members to join and share their skills. Have a passion for sustainability, bicycles, land use or other topics? Have communications skills?  Looking for volunteer opportunities? We want you!
We will be electing chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, communications, and other committee chairs (land use, SE Uplift representative, crime prevention, bike advocacy, picnic). We welcome members-at-large. You must be present at the meeting to be elected to the board.
