The Book of Merman

The Book of Merman is a new musical comedy by Leo Schwartz premieres November 27 at The Sanctuary, 1785 NE Sandy Blvd. Amy Jo Halliday stars as the one and only Ethel.

The play runs through December 19,  Thursdays – Saturdays with Sunday matinees.

To prepare Portland for the event, Triangle Productions is collaborating with Clinton Street Theatre, XRAY Radio and comedian Belinda Carroll to present a two night Ethel Merman Movie Weekend, November 6 and 7.

Both nights begin with a 7  pm sing-a-long with Ethel Merman’s hits and hostess Belinda Carroll. At 7:30, see Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July (Friday).at 7:30, and Saturday, see It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Tickets are $7 for each night or $10 for both.
