Portland Parks Winter Wreath Fundraiser

Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R)’s Environmental Education program presents its 26th annual winter wreath fundraiser. Wreath sales support PP&R programs which connect underserved youth to the natural world. In the past, funds have been used to support the Summer Nature Day Camp program, Ecological Field Trips and Children’s Nature Classes, all of which teach ecology through activities, skills, stewardship and play.

awreathConnecting people to their local parks and natural areas when they are young helps spark the desire to care for our parks as they get older.

Tabor Yard Greenhouse, 6437 SE Division St., (weekdays and weekends) until Friday, December 12; Sellwood Community Center’s Snowflakes in Sellwood Holiday Bazaar: Sat, Dec. 5, 9 am – 4 pm and Sun, Dec 6, 10 am – 3 pm Sellwood Community Center at 1436 SE Spokane St.
