Our own President Teddy Roosevelt reenacted one of his speeches on the importance of Civic Engagement to a healthy country, community and business district. You, too, can meet him at Roosevelt’s Terrarium on SE 44th.

Discussion followed regarding new zoning designations and the possibility that portions of Hawthorne might be designated as an area to maintain at current building heights rather that approving 5 story buildings throughout the District. Watch for opportunities to testify.

The 2016 Hawthorne Street Fair is on Sunday, August 28. Contact nchapin@tsgpdx.com to be involved in the planning.
