Hank Cramer, Wolf and Carr:  May PFS Concert

Washington folksinger Hank Cramer, “the singing soldier” is known for his booming bass voice, smooth flat-top guitar picking and his wry sense of humor.

Portland FolkMusic Society hosts Cramer in concert on Friday, May 13 at 7:30 pm, at St. David of Wales Episcopal Church, 2800 SE Harrison St. It’s the last PFS concert until fall and tickets are $18, $15 for PFS members and $9 ages 12-18. Under 12 are free.

Cramer has been an underground miner, Army officer, paratrooper, a deepwater sailor and a wrangler for a high-country outfitter. He is a performer, historian and someone who has “been there and done that”. He’s also produced twenty albums.

His song My Sweet Wyoming Home is considered to be one of the top cowboy songs and he’s performed for the National Historic Oregon Trail Center for thirteen years. hankcramer.com
