Meetings: 3rd Tuesday
OHSU Family Medicine at RichmondÂ
7:30 amÂ
3930 SE Division
Thank you to the police, the visitors, and vendors, and the volunteers. You made the Division/Clinton Street Fair into a low key, family friendly event. Special thanks to DCBA president Sydney Mead for coordinating the event and the parade. We’re sorry that a medical emergency cancelled the LEGOs exhibit at the last minute. They plan to return next year.
Willamette Week’s Best of Portland reader’s poll had a lot of good things to say about Division/Clinton. New to the list this year are: Jackpot Recording Studio on 50th, Fung Fu Bakery on 36th, and Independent Publishing Resources at 11th.
Other winners are Rudy’s Barbershop, Loyly, The Bhaktishop Yoga Center, Barre 3, and Studio Blue. The winning restaurants are Broder, Los Gorditos, Nuestra Cocina, Bollywood, Pok Pok, Ava Genes, Portobello, St Honore, Townsend’s Tea, Double Dragon, and Stumptown Coffee.
Salt and Straw and 50 Licks both won as did Lauretta Jean’s. Nonfood favorites included Blink eyewear, Mirador kitchen store, and New Seasons flowers.
Next year will be the street fair’s 25th year, its silver anniversary. We will start planning after the holidays and tax time. Let us know what you’d like to see for this special occasion. Contact President Sydney Mead at sydney@habitatellc.com or Katie Meyer at dcbakatie@gmail.com.
