The Wild Woods takes place January 7 and it’s a creepy winter wonderland-meets-glam downtown soiree celebrating Theatre Vertigo by kicking off 2017 with a benefit for its new season. The Festivities begin at 7:30 pm.
Explore the world of the macabre with a night of eerie entertainment and performance by The Pulp Stage, Tarot readings by Lisa Spiral Ducret, face painting by Portland tattoo artist, Lindsey Chamberlain Strong, and music from Hayley Lynn and Friends.
That evening will be the only showing of a new play created by Matthew B. Zrebski, director of this winter’s production, Carnivora.
Theatre Vertigo’s mission statement includes a commitment to the production of new or rarely seen works and this fête takes place at One Main Place, 101 SW Main St. Advance tickets are $10 ($15 at the door) and proceeds benefit Theatre Vertigo’s 2017 season. Reservations can be made by calling 503.482.8655 or online at theatrevertigo.org.
