All Are Invited: SE Uplift’s Single Family Zone Series
All are Welcome! SE Uplift’s single-family zones series: Exploring the past, the present, and the future of these areas in our city.
A number of policy proposals impacting predominately single-family neighborhoods in Southeast have stirred up questions, concerns, and excitement for the future of these areas. Residential Infill Project and HB 2001, both allow for more housing types/options in single-family zones.
While the SE Uplift Board has not taken a position on any of these policy proposals, our mission involves creating a safe place for information sharing and dialog on livability issues important to our community and neighbors. We will provide a forum for bringing people together to exchange perspectives, learn, listen, find common ground, and even discover solutions on this topic.
Note: Participants in this series are highly encouraged to attend all meetings (June-August) in order to not just share their own perspectives, but also demonstrate they are willing to listen and learn from others as well. The outcome will be greater understanding, new perspectives gained, and ideas and tools for solving identified concerns or gaps in proposed policies.
*SE Uplift will also strive to make this opportunity available city-wide by partnering with other coalition districts to stream content.
