New Ukulele Class
New class starting on Thursday night, June 25. Dig a little deeper–Harmony for Ukulele Players. In this class, ukulele players will learn practical harmony. Songs we will explore for context will include Crazy by Willie Nelson, Night and Day by Cole Porter, You’ve Got a Friend by Carole King, Autumn Leaves by Joseph Kosma.
Brian Fergus
Starting in August -3rd Saturday Uke Jam!
Can you get enough?? How about jamming with Brian on the 3rd Saturday? Go deeper, add harmony…Are you aready to play some material that’s a bit more challenging? The tunes in this drop in class feature advanced chord parts, tabbed melodic parts, and picker/strummer arrangements You can do it.

Guitar with Adrian
Adrian is offering beginning and intermediate guitar on Monday nights with new classes starting on Monday, June 17. You can also sign up for his popular “Playing Well with Others” class, and his Strumming Patterns class. Adrian is a wonderful teacher. Register!
Singing With Anne
The Everyone Welcome Choir starts a new session on Monday, June 17. The class is a non-audition singing class and choir rolled into one, where the number one reason for returning is FUN. Any skill level, any age. Wheelchair accessible. Bring your family, bring your friends! (NOTE: This session will be at the Green House) Join us. Sing!

Steve is offering two classes! blues harmonica and blues guitar in the style of blues great Bo Carter. Dig into the origins of the blues and classic roots music. Get the blues!
Mandolin, Old-Time and Banjo
Megan, Rene, Olivia and Jane cover the spectrum of old-time, bluegrass and traditional roots instruments with classes in mandolin, fiddle and other instruments in this genre. Rene continues his popular Mandolin series, Megan offers her monthly fiddle/violin series, Jane is offering her Stringbandworkshop and Olivia and Rene team-up for an all-instrument fiddle tunesworkshop.

John Stowell Jazz Master Class
Internationally acclaimed Jazz guitar master, John Stowell is a teacher’s teacher. Tracy Kim took classes from him early in his career. He has been an artist-in-residence at schools in Germany, Indonesia, Argentina, the United States and Canada. He served as assistant director and performer at Oregon Public Broadcasting’s PDX Jazz Summit in 1991. Larry Coryel says, “John Stowell plays jazz, but he doesn’t use any of the clichés; he has an incredible originality. John is a master creator.” John’s workshop will precede his performance with Adlai Alexander on Saturday, July 6. Register
All Ages Uke Drop-In Class!
Aaron Canwell of the popular Kindie band, Micah and Me, well be teaching a weekly ukulele drop in designed for parents, caregivers, and nannies who would like to learn to play the ukulele with their little ones in tow. The drop in sessions will start Monday, July 22 at 10:30 am. This is open to anyone of any age. Just know kids will tolerated! Details
A Portland Ukestra Weekend with Nancy Piver-This workshop is sold out!
July 19, 20, and 21—Ukulele ensemble workshops for all skill levels. Nancy has directed small and large ukulele ensembles playing her ragtime—and swing, classical, and Latin arrangements—at the West Coast Ukulele Retreats and Menucha Ukulele Band Camp. She includes music notation, tab, and chord parts in the pieces she arranges so players at all levels enjoy playing music together. More Info
