To give back this holiday season, Grain Integrative Health is providing medical services to a local domestic violence shelter. They are in need of the following donations: women’s and children’s underwear, razors, tampons, deodorant, diapers, children’s and women’s socks. They and Raphael House will be grateful for any size contribution. Grain Integrative Health, 503.445.8114, 4246 SE Belmont St. #5.

Meals on Wheels People is currently doing a big push for coffee donations. It costs more than $600 a year to keep the Belmont Center Meals on Wheels in coffee. Every donation of one pound of coffee will keep the center coffee pot full for four days. In exchange for your kindness, they will put a sign next to our coffee pot with your name or the name of your business. Keep older adults happy and get some advertising! 4610 SE Belmont Street, 503.953.8202, Ela.martinez-moreno@mealsonwheelspeople.org.

There is an excellent article about what’s happening at Belmont Station, 4500 SE Stark St. online at www.newschoolbeer.com/2012/12/belmont-station-continuing-expansion-of.html
