The following officers were elected at the annual meeting.  President Jean Baker, Vice President, unfilled, Secretary Kevin Fisher, Treasurer Sue Wallace and board members Maryann Archimbault, Paul Block, Erin Kirk Yen Nguyen, Darice Robinson, Kevin Schmidt and Deirdre Shepherd.

There is still no contractor selected for the streetscape work, so work probably won’t start until May.  Work will continue on Tri-Met’s Clinton Street light rail station, which is on Gideon. Tri-Met and the city will do their best not to block too many streets at a time.

St Philip Neri’s Spaghetti Dinner, cancelled in October, has been rescheduled for April 28.

On February 26, Eugenio’s celebrates its 11th anniversary.  Eugenio’s serves pizza, sandwiches and soups.  Don’t miss the meatball sandwich!

Artemis Foods has moved its catering business from the back of the 1235 building on Division to SE 3rd and Clay. Moving into the new spaces at 2006 SE Clinton are AM:PM PR and 7/Apps.  The two firms work with a number of partners to create, build, market and support apps.

There are two ways you can receive the latest information on the progress of the streetscape: By emailing rhetta.drennan@portlandoregon.gov with “Division” in the subject line, or calling the update hotline at 503.823.1997. Joseph Arnett will be on the street updating business owners on when the construction will affect them. Joe Arnett can be reached at joseph.annett@portlandoregon.gov.
