…A multi media presentation by Kimberli Ransom concerning adoptive families, adopted children and how they adapt. Adoption is a complex experience that touches the lives of many. These portraits and stories and videos offer tender portraits of how people share love beyond the bond of blood or contracts. The photographer, Kimberli Ransom, was adopted at birth and raised by a family in Eastern Oregon, and had her first contact with her biological family at the age of 18.
A collaboration with Yasmin Nguyen, Ransom captures personal stories in multiple forms and give these featured families the gift of sharing a moment together and conversations that strenghtens their bonds.
