The March STNA general meeting had many in the audience eager to hear updates and provide feedback on the Division Safety project. Led by Communications Committee member, MaryLouise Ott, advocacy efforts have been successful to date, and may result in re-striping of SE Division street between 60th and 80th from four lanes to three as early as this summer.
The next meeting regarding Division Safety will be on April 23 at Warner Pacific College. Check www.southtabor.org for more details. Thanks to all who have provided input, thus far. Email crosswalks@southtabor.org for more information.
Mark your calendars for the annual Spring Clean-Up, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 from 9 am to 1 pm at Warner Pacific College. This is the primary fundraiser for the STNA, so join us if you can! For a nominal fee, residents can conveniently drop off items destined for the dump. All proceeds benefit South Tabor community projects and events.
The annual Movie in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, August 10 on the green at Warner Pacific College. Mark your calendars, as this family friendly event is always a crowd pleaser.
The initial information kiosk prototype was unveiled by the Communications Committee. Work parties to construct nine more kiosks throughout South Tabor will commence in coming weeks. To volunteer, email communications@southtabor.org.
As a reminder, board and general meetings will continue to be held at 2700 SE 67th Ave. For information, visit www.southtabor.org.
