Nicholson and Soper play for Ceili

Elizabeth Nicholson (harp, vocals, guitar) and Bob Soper (fiddle, vocals, bouzouki) will be featured musicians at Portland Ceili Society’s gathering, Friday, April 26 at the Eagles Lodge, 4904 SE Hawthorne Blvd.

As co-founders of the Celtic international roots band Stringed Migration, Nicholson and Soper’s music has been featured on radio including on NPR’s Thistle and Shamrock. The title of their 2009 album describes them perfectly:

Dance lessons begin at 7.15 pm with live music and no dance experience is required. The dance is at 8 pm. Kids are welcome too. The Eagles Lodge offers a full bar, a licensed kitchen and a parking lot.
