The Possessions of la boîte is an ensemble-devised work taken from actual family letters and group improvisation. Presented by The Reformers Collective at Studio 2 at Zoomtopia, 810 SE Belmont St., it opens Friday, April 5 and runs through April 21.
The story unfolds as generations of written word attempt to resolve the past in the now. A comic, hopeful-tragedy and multimedia piece using theatre, movement and the show features a new interactive projection technology.
The cast features members of Defunkt Theatre including director Charmian Creagle, Sean Doran, David Bellis-Squires and Tamara Sorelli. Add Jen Elkington Adrienne Flagg and sound designer Richard E. Moore and simmer.
Performances are Fridays-Sundays at 8pm. Tickets are available in advance at www.boxofficetickets.com or at the door for $15-$20.
