Join us August 3 for our 9-hole fut-golf challenge! Kick Kick Score; an official 2014 MLS All-Star Game Event hosted by HBBA and made possible by a grant from Venture Portland.  Register for the competition at  kickkickscore.com.

The longest running Street Fair in Portland is Sunday, August 17, from 11 am to 7 pm.

Hawthorne businesses host sidewalk sales and special activities.  Among them: Fyberworks, 4300 SE Hawthorne, having a “Kitchie Kitchie Kool Garage Sale” and Pita Pit, 4121, where they will be having live music and handing out samples. Check out events at One With Heart Tulen Center, 4231, too. The Eagles at SE 50th will continue their tradition of having food, entertainment and more all day.

New HBBA Member, Elements, 3340, will be out, as will Metro, Presents of Mind and more. Local businesses will be joined by local folks selling their art, crafts and products or sharing organizational information.

5:30 pm Brothers of the Baladi

featuring  Cuban, Blues, Funk, Rock and Roll, Middle Eastern and Martin John Gallagher as sound tech. Gear provided by Showcase Sound and Music.
