Happy Spring to you all. The Hawthorne business community is starting to plan the Hawthorne Street Fair to be held on August 16. The Boulevard and neighborhoods will soon welcome Portland Cider Company’s new, 28-tap, cider-only taproom at the former Escential Oils location at 3638 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Founded in 2012 by new HBBA members, Jeff and Lynda Parrish, they’ll offer Portland Cider Company ciders and select ciders from other regional craft makers. According to Jeff and Lynda, they will be open to all ages and will feature a limited food menu. Patrons will be encouraged to bring in food from nearby restaurants.
3 Dots & A Dash, is located at 3403 SE Hawthorne. Inspired by a love of laid back, French country living and unique treasures, the idea of opening an eclectic furniture shop was born. Always wanting to work together, the three dots (the 3 Morrill girls) & their DASH (Mr. Gray), decided to bring their own styles together and create a welcoming home furnishing store that embraces their love for unique décor. 503.233.4221, www.3dotsinc.com.
