On Friday, June 19, 2015, Eugene’s Low Tide Drifters will bring their unique style of “underdog folk music” to Artichoke Music’s Friday Night Coffeehouse, followed by a house-concert performance on Saturday, June 20.
Since 2007, the Low Tide Drifters have created original, roots-based songs that reflect the struggles and stories of everyday people in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Influenced by Utah Phillips, Woody Guthrie, Harry Stamper, Hazel Dickens, and other socially conscious songwriters of all genres, they bring a respect for the past and a concern for the future to their music. Their original songs have received national and international radio airplay, and their live shows are infused with energetic playing, lively humor, and engaging storytelling.
