Milagro’s annual Posada Milagro celebrates the wonders of Christmas with an afternoon of music, dance and storytelling fun for the whole family,
This year is the celebration’s 16th year and it’s filled with Latin American traditions and culture reflecting on the journey of Mary and Joseph in their search for refuge.
With arts and crafts workshops, Spanish storytelling, two piñatas, performances from Ballet Papalotls (pictured above), Colectivo Son Jarocho de Portland, and the traditional pastorela, hosted by Noel Alvarez.
Festivities are open to all Sunday, December 16, from 1-5 pm at El Centro Milagro at 537 SE Stark St. Performances are at 2 and 4 pm. All tickets are free and distributed on a first come/first serve basis beginning at 1 pm. Bring canned food/non-perishable items to donate to Oregon Food Bank.
