Bluesy tunesmith and former local Del Goldfarb plays a rare set at the Montavilla Farmers Market October 27, from noon- 2 pm.

Goldfarb is in Portland once again and will be joined for the Montavilla show by percussionist Michael Beach from Brothers of the Baladi. Together they were previously known as the Howdy Dukes.

He has worked between Portland, Memphis and Jerusalem. Curtis Salgado recorded his Portable Man, and Goldfarb’s version was included on Appleseed Records “Give Us Your Poor,” alongside  tracks from Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Springsteen.
