The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be repairing SE Division St. from SE Cesar Chavez Blvd. to SE 50th Ave. starting in July. The project will be constructed in phases to avoid as much disruption as possible. Construction segments will be approximately three blocks in length, apart from the intersections and SE Cesar Chavez Blvd. and SE 50th Ave.
Work at SE Cesar Chavez Blvd. will involve a full weekend closure. SE 50th Ave. will take approximately three weeks and will involve partial closures, 24-hour flagging and periods of full closure. These intersections may involve weekend and evening work. All other segments of the project will happen Monday-Friday during standard business hours, and SE Division St. will remain open for one direction of traffic. During this time, parking will need to be temporarily removed on SE Division St. at construction locations.
Total construction time for repaving is expected to be approximately 10 weeks. The schedule is tentative and may change so check bit.ly/4ekWCfK for project updates and schedule changes.
