Come out and celebrate National Night Out with the Kerns Neighborhood Association and your neighbors at our Annual National Night Out picnic Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 6 pm to dark in Oregon Park (NE 30th & Oregon St). There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, music, a raffle, silent auction, crafts and games for the kids, and neighborhood business exhibitions.
Thurs., Aug. 13 enjoy a Movie in the Park at our neighborhood park, Oregon Park (NE 30th & Oregon St). Bring your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. Entertainment starts at 6:30 with music from The Sale. Film starts at dusk. This year we’re screening the movie“Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.
We’re taking a break for August; our next meeting will be Wed., Sept. 16.
