DCBA Pres.: Sydney Mead
Meetings: 3rd Tuesday
OHSU Family Medicine at Richmond
3930 SE Division
The Division Celebrates Small holiday event was a success. Shoppers came from all over town and tour buses brought international visitors. The Division Clinton booth gave away T-shirts, shopping bags, and maps. We gave directions, answered questions, met a number of tourists and a lot of very nice neighbors. Thank you all for supporting small businesses and our business district.
2017 starts with a new president, a new mayor, and a new city commissioner. In our part of SE Portland, we’re looking at new developments, new businesses, and probably more traffic. Division Clinton will meet January 26 at Clinton Street Theater at 5 pm to discuss the coming changes and how to survive and thrive.
Sculptor Martin Eichinger started the redevelopment of his studio at 26th and Division.
Division finally has a bank on the street. Trailhead Credit Union opened in late November on the corner of 33rd and Division.
Work has finally begun on the triangular lot at the corner of 19th and Division, across from New Seasons. Sydney Mead moved Habitate, her property management business, to 3302 SE Division. Habitate manages residential and commercial properties and provides Airbnb support.
