December marks Artichoke’s first holiday season since moving to its new home at 2007 SE Powell Blvd. The non-profit music center celebrates the season with live music at its Café, new stock in its instrument store, and registration for classes and workshops for the January school term.
The store is open every day and carries a selection of new and vintage acoustic instruments. Learn to play guitar, banjo, uke, mandolin etc, write a song? Artichoke’s School of Music offers seven-week classes for beginning and experienced musicians. School of Music registration begins December 11 and classes start January 8.
