Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
Open enrollment for 2018 on the healthcare marketplace via HealthCare.gov began on November 1 and lasts until December 15. If this is your first time getting covered or you are returning to shop and save, you must take action by December 15. If you already have coverage, take a moment to update and review your information – make sure your plan still meets your needs. By comparing options for 2018, you may find it cheaper to select a new plan.
Free assistance with Medicare is available from certified counselors through Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program (SHIBA) at 800.722.4134. Free enrollment help is available. If you have questions about signing up or want to talk through your options with a trained professional, you may call 800.318.2596 or visit localhelp.healthcare.gov. Feel free to share this information with anyone you know you who might need it.
