Frogz begins a new run at its Imago home, December 8 – January 7 at 17 SE 8th Ave. The show, by Carol Triffle and Jerry Mouawad and Imago’s signature work, features firefly eyes, frog introverts, insomniac hippos, arrogant anteaters, paradoxical polar bears and tricky penguins. The show has been described as “Cirque Du Soleil-evoking acrobatics mixed with Mummenschanz-like mime, set in a unique French-influenced avant-garde playground”.

Animals and inanimate objects take on human characteristics and the costumes and masks and original music score create a carnival of the absurd. For tickets, go to imagotheatre.com.
