• Resonate Choral Arts: Awake & Dreaming – Saturday December 8, 8 pm. A women’s chorus exploring connection through song. Collaboration is at the heart as this chorus, co-creates performance pieces combining singing with live dreamscapes created by local visual artist Beth Lorio. It’s an ethereal journey through other realms with evocative images created through shadow puppetry. $15

• Monthly Youth Open Mic – Tuesday December 11, 6 pm. Original music is encouraged, but not required. $5

• Peace on Earth, Goodwill to All, a Holiday Concert and Sock Drive for the Homeless – Saturday December 15 at 8 pm. Award-winning singer-songwriter Beth Wood headlines the show of many songwriters. Read more in the Seasonal Giving story on our cover.

•  The Return of Michelle Alany & The Mystics – Sunday December 16, 7 pm. Dynamic violinist and vocalist Alany is an animated performer and an internationally touring ambassador of world folk traditions, specializing in Sephardic, Mediterranean and Eastern music. Ancient melodies, hypnotic strings, wild improvisation and energizing soulful music. $15
