In “Oregon’s Struggle to Address Mental Illness” in the November issue it was incorrectly reported that the Oregon State Hospital was closed in 2008 by order of the Department of Justice (DOJ). Although the DOJ issued a report identifying areas the hospital was deficient, including poor living conditions and treatment, they expected the hospital to remedy those deficits.
