We are working on the Rose Gardens map for next Spring’s blooming season. We are also working on a new version of the Dining Guide, going towards one with more simplicity for finding 82nd Avenue and nearby eating and drinking opportunities from the airport and downtown. As we look forward to next year, the 2027 membership opportunities will be out soon.

Friday, October 30 Kernside is having Halloween fun all day and into the evening! During the day, neighborhood businesses are passing out Halloween treats. Please check Kernside’s Instagram page, @kernside.pdx, for a list of participating businesses. You can keep the festivities going into the night at Rose City Guitar’s “Dead or Alive: Karaoke/Lipsyncing” party. It’s a Halloween party and musical costume showdown where you get to become your favorite artist for the night. Come dressed as a musician, living or dead, and perform one of their songs. Early bird tickets are $15 and General Admission tickets are $20.
PDXwoofmeow is hosting a FREE Halloween pet costume contest Sunday, October 18. The contest starts at 1:45 pm. Pre-register for the contest at pdxwoofmeow.com, or register the day of the event at 1 pm. The contest is held on Ankeny Rainbow Road Plaza, located at SE 28th Ave. and Ankeny St. The contest will be held on the stage.
